LG1-31: Global Search

Global Search can be accessed from any page in SUNrise and will search all content including Activities, Users (Contacts) and Assets.

This powerful search will even search within the Activity fields and Asset metadata (information about the asset).

 

Using Global Search

  1. From any page, click in the Global Search box at the top of the window
  2. Type some criteria and press the enter/return key on the keyboard
  3. In the Search Results, click on the name of the item to quickly navigate to it (open it)

 

 

 

Content Types

In the search results, the content types are grouped by Activities, Assets and Tasks. Only the first 5 or 6 items are displayed. Click the  button to view further results.

 

Viewing search results: Activities

Click the Activities tab within the search results to refine the list by Activities only.

When the Activities content type has been selected, the 'Status' and 'Priority' facets are displayed allowing you to further refine the results using the check boxes available.

 

Viewing search results: Assets

Click the Assets tab within the search results to refine the list by Assets only.

When the Assets content type has been selected, the 'Verdict' and 'Other' facets are displayed allowing you to further refine the results using the check boxes available.

 

Viewing search results: Tasks

Click the Tasks tab within the search results to refine the list by Tasks only.

When the Tasks content type has been selected, the 'Status' and 'Priority' facets are displayed allowing you to further refine the results using the check boxes available.

 

Viewing search results: Products

Click the Products tab within the search results to refine the list by Products only.

 

 

Using Global Search to search for a user

Type a name in the Global Search box to get quick access to a user profile.

When the search results are displayed, click the Contacts content type (tab) to show contacts only
